What You Must Have
• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current State Driver's License
• Two years of experience as a Nursing Manager in a clinical care setting, hospice or home health preferred
• Flexible schedule for late afternoon admits
• Experience in EMR a plus
• Specialized skills preferred in palliation and end-of-life
• Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance

What You Will Do
• Directs and coordinates PCMs, MDs, clinical departments and sites; assumes responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with State and federal regulations. (Conditions of Participation)
• Supports employee and patient education to enhance knowledge, skills and achieve quality experiences. Continuously trains nursing staff to retain employees with the highest quality of patient care
• Supervises and provides direction to subordinates, in an effort to ensure quality, compliance with Plan of Care, assessment and reassessment of patient's needs and continuity of services by appropriate health care personnel
• Monitors QA/PI Program and assures appropriate corrective measures are performed
• Director of Nursing manages IDG and participates in QAPI activities.
• Utilize excellent customer care skills with internal and external customers, including using proper phone etiquette
• Promote positive, respectful communication to all staff, referral sources, patients and families
• Timely submission of all documentation
• Performance of other duties as required
• Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
