Trusted Hospice Care in Livingston, Texas

New to Heart to Heart Hospice!

Olive Branch Hospice has joined the Heart to Heart Hospice family as Heart to Heart Hospice of the Lakes Area. In order to better serve both patients and families, as well as the healthcare community, we have expanded our service area, hospice care teams and operational resources with Heart to Heart Hospice as the parent organization.

Given the geography of the eastern Gulf Coast area, it is imperative to have contingency plans in place, and becoming Heart to Heart Hospice of the Lakes Area allows us to provide better care outcomes. This new relationship offers a greater continuity of care for patients and expands our resources for emergency preparedness and care teams, enabling us to have a faster response time for end-of-life patients.

We have the same great comfort care, excellent caregiver support and same warm faces, hearts, and passion of Olive Branch, now doing business as Heart to Heart Hospice of the Lakes Area.

For patients and families who need expert care during the final stages of illness, Heart to Heart Hospice of the Lakes Area is ready from day one. We offer compassionate support for terminally ill patients and resources for their family members. Our Lakes Area team provides hospice care in the following Texas counties: Polk, Tyler, Hardin, Liberty and San Jacinto.

When is it time for hospice? Who is eligible?

When a doctor has determined the patient has a life expectancy of six months or less, and curative treatments aren’t working or are no longer desired, it is time to call in hospice. To learn more, read Is it Time for Hospice?

Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits and most private health insurance plans offer hospice benefits and coverage. Medicare beneficiaries receive hospice at little to no cost. Read more here: Eligibility and Paying For Hospice.
